The Hot Rod 7D-PL Deluxe Kit Mod enables the use of nearly every PL mount lens directly on the Canon 7D without the need for additional optics. The system incorporates a physical modification of the Canon 7D to a permanent PL mount and makes wide range of professional quality lenses are  available for HD video and still capture. What PL lenses fit on the 7D-PL?

Will a custom mod void my factory warranty?

Yes, the 7D-PL Mod performed by Hot Rod Cameras will void Canon’s factory warranty. However, there is a five day new camera initial failure policy. Customers have 5 days after their invoice date to notify us of an initial failure.

Do you offer a warranty on this product?

We currently do not offer a warranty for this product. Abel Cine Tech will not be performing repairs on these cameras. Repairs must be sent directly to Hot Rod Cameras.

I already own a Canon 7D, can I just purchase the modification?
